  • Dr. Brittany Herrick

Sport Performance and Psychology Ed.D.; Certified Mental Performance Consultant; CF-LI; USAW L1; CPR/AED.

Owner of Herrick Performance Consulting, Dr. B grew up playing multiple sports and had a passion for competing. Her pursuit of excellence contributed to achieving success in collegiate and professional basketball. When she decided to retire, it was only natural that she transitioned into coaching basketball and strength and conditioning. After coaching for over a decade, she realized her passion for helping student-athletes was predominantly off the court in the areas of mental training, character building and goal setting.  Through her experience, she recognized that in order to best serve student-athletes she needed to be able to devote her full attention to the mental and off-the-court needs. She decided to pursue her doctorate in Sport Performance and Psychology from the University of Western States. She believes student-athletes are underserved regarding their mental training and ability to navigate the increasing pressure of performance. When athletes develop better coping mechanisms they are better able to regulate emotions, improve decision-making, and increase confidence. She views sports as a microcosm of the real world, by helping individuals become mentally stronger for sport, they can be better equipped to become better humans.

  • Hali Moro

CF-L1; RN; BSN; BLS; ACLS; Certified Working Against Gravity nutrition coach

Hali wanted to help people see the same health success she did after she found CrossFit. She never stuck with anything before and really, she found herself with a lifestyle that didn’t make her happy so one day she decided to start working towards making herself happy. She found CrossFit, loved the idea and stuck with it. Along the way she found herself in the best shape of her life and the happiest she had have ever been. She knows if she could come from where she did, that others could find their happiness through CrossFit too. She wanted to use all the feelings and situations she went through with her own personal journey to relate to others and help them walk the same path, but this time with someone who knew exactly what they were going through. And not just her, but build an entire community who could look to each other to continue on as well!
